In celebration of Saratoga Living's 25th anniversary, the magazine featured 25 movers and shakers who have made Saratoga what it is and who will continue to shape its future.

Amongst them is our very own Lifestyles Owner, Heidi Owen West! As you may know, Heidi also owns Caroline + Main and Union Hall Supply Co. (and its upcoming sister store in Albany). She is also VP of the Downtown Business Association and the mastermind behind some of Saratoga's most elaborate window displays.

"I am BEYOND honored to stand alongside this incredible group of people who are shaping the face of our beloved city. It literally seems like just yesterday when my Mom and I were scraping paint off of our first adventure in retail - Indulgence Bakery and Cafe on Phila Street. (Who remembers that?!! Circa late 80's, Joan Tallman!!) She would be a very proud mama right now!!

I’ve said it many times but it bears repeating . . . yes, Saratoga Springs is a city filled with beauty-historic architecture, natural springs, a thriving downtown filled with locally-owned businesses, SPAC, an historic racecourse, etc etc but it’s THE PEOPLE that make this city special. People who care enough and are willing to devote much of their time and energy to continuing the work of those who have come before us. It has been my privilege to live in and serve this community in many different capacities and I can’t wait to see what the next 25 years bring!!
